At Italoptik Kala we sat down with ten women, a doctor and a psychologist to talk from the heart about how cancer changes the lives of women and their families.

In September, the children of “Yjet” kindergarten came to Italoptik Kala for an eye exam. With toys, games and psychologist Ilta Shahinaj, fear gave way to smiles.

In July we invited Italoptik’s young clients and their parents to a day in nature on Mount Dajti, away from screens, to talk about myopia and the importance of time outdoors.

In May, at Tirana Castle, children put down phones and tablets for puzzles, sand and board games. With psychologist Ilta Shahinaj and the mothers, we talked about family, play and eye health.

In March 2026, during Ramadan, Italoptik shared an iftar with about ten women of Albania’s Muslim community at Te Arditi in Mullet. An evening of conversation about women, motherhood and faith.

In February 2026, at Italoptik Kala in Tirana Castle, client couples of different ages told us how they met, the difficulties they overcame and how they supported each other.

On 5 January 2024, Italoptik, the first private optician in Albania, founded by Andrea Lula, turned 30. A big party with well-known guests, our whole staff and our own eyewear brand.
